Welcome to our Buyer’s Guide. This section of our web site is designed to assist prospective Buyer’s in their acquisition of existing businesses. Parts of this site may temporarily be under construction as we continue to compile information and add to this section.

The link, “Buying a Business – an Overview” will give you a good basic overview of the process. This is a good place to start. It certainly is not intended to be an all inclusive guide and you should seek the services of an Attorney and Accountant before making any substantial investment in an existing business.

Once you have a basic understanding of the process, serious Buyer’s should prepare themselves appropriately to enter the market place. Broker’s, Sellers, Lenders, Accountants and Landlords like to know they are dealing with a qualified Buyer, financially and professionally qualified to complete the transaction. We recommend you prepare a Personal Financial Statement, Resume and Letter of Introduction to show whomever you may deal with your credentials. This saves everyone time including you. Additionally you will find a “Buyer Questionnaire” form that you can complete and forward to your Acquisition Experts representative. All of these items together will assist the Broker in finding you the right business to meet your personal and financial objectives.
